Hollywood,CA(HOLLYWOOD TODAY)7/14/11/—Ladies and gentlemen!  Coming to you live and direct from the Entertainment Capital of the World! Don’t miss Mr. Bunny Brunel and young Cuban phenom Dayramir Gonzalez as they play Jazz at the BAKED POTATO tonight  14th and  July 15th also. I repeat! Dayramir Gonzalez, one of the faces of the new generation of Cuban jazz players, will be playing with Jazz great Mr. Bunny Brunel. Just the other day I was graced with the honor of listening to these two musicians, the young upstart Gonzalez pushing Bunny to new heights with his virtuosity and youthful intensity!
Bunny Brunel, playing his signature Bunny Brunel 5-string from CARVIN, attacked his Latin lingo bass lines was as much machismo as a Spanish toreador.  Friendly banter between Frenchman Brunel and Cubano Gonzalez between songs seemed to release the musical tension in the room as each musician seemed to push each other to higher levels of musical virtuosity.  Brunel noticed that the young piano player smiles like Herbie Hancock and after listening I will gamble to say he has a little of his touch as well.  Among all the Latin riffs explored among the two,  Autumn Leaves, a jazz standard was played as well.  Bunny’s walking bass line with Gonzalez riffing along was just a wonderful musical ride.  Bunny’s solo playing on the upper register of his bass was like some cosmic horn. See The Video
