In which condition girls are called sexy?

Why do guys call girls words like hot and sexy? well from expreince i get annoyed wen guys call me hot, sexy, and other words. i got get why guys can just say oh shes cute or shes rele pretty. it doesnt take much to say shes pretty. and other words like that?
